We know how precious your little one is — and how much trust it takes to hire baby gear. We’ve created these terms to keep things clear, fair, and stress-free for everyone.
Bookings & Payments
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your hire.
A refundable $150 bond will be held and returned within 48 hours of your hire items being collected and checked.
Payment confirms you’ve read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
Cancellations & Changes
We understand plans change — especially with babies! 💛
7+ days notice: Full refund (including bond).
2–6 days notice: 50% refund.
Within 48 hours of delivery: Non-refundable (but we’ll always try to reschedule where possible).
If your trip or booking is cancelled for medical or compassionate reasons, please get in touch — we’re kind humans first, and will review it personally.
Delivery, Setup & Collection
We deliver directly to your home, accommodation, or Airbnb within the Gold Coast region.
A delivery fee may apply depending on your location.
Optional setup service ($30) includes assembly and placement so your gear is ready to use.
Please ensure items are available for collection at the agreed time to avoid re-collection fees.
Cleaning & Care
We take cleanliness seriously — every item is thoroughly sanitised and safety-checked between hires.
Please return items in the same clean condition you received them.
A small cleaning fee may apply for excessive mess, stains, or sand (we know how beach trips can be!).
No harsh chemicals are needed — a gentle wipe down is perfect.
Damage, Loss or Misuse
We get that accidents happen — but we do need to cover replacement costs for lost or damaged items.
Your bond covers minor wear and tear.
Significant damage, missing parts, or misuse may incur additional charges.
Please use all gear as intended and follow manufacturer safety guidelines.
Safety & Liability
All products are safety-checked and maintained to high standards. However, Gold Coast Baby Hire is not responsible for any injury or incident arising from misuse or failure to follow safety instructions. Please always supervise children while using hired equipment.
